Working with the wisdom of the body to help you heal from trauma, navigate grief, and find your way back to wholeness — gently, at your own pace.
"Healing doesn't mean the damage never existed — it means it no longer controls your life."
I am a somatic therapist trained in Compassionate Inquiry — a trauma-informed approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté and Sat Dharam Kaur that gently explores the deeper roots of pain, disconnection, and unconscious patterns.
Before stepping fully into therapeutic work, I spent over 12 years working with people in human resources and emotional support environments. That time taught me to listen beneath the surface — to what goes unsaid, unfelt, and unacknowledged.
My work is relational. I work with the body as much as the mind, because real healing often happens not through insight alone, but through being felt, seen, and met with compassion exactly where you are.

I work with adults who are carrying something heavy — and who are ready, or just beginning to be ready, to look at it with support.
"You do not need to be in crisis to deserve support. Sometimes the most courageous thing is simply to say — something feels off, and I want to understand it."

A gentle introductory conversation to see if we're a good fit and answer any questions.
We begin at your pace. No rush, no agenda. You lead — I follow with care and presence.
Sessions weekly or bi-weekly, for as long as feels right. Pause or stop whenever you need.
Compassionate Inquiry, developed by Dr. Gabor Maté and Sat Dharam Kaur, is a psychotherapeutic approach that gently uncovers the unconscious dynamics that drive behaviour and cause suffering.
Combined with somatic (body-based) awareness, this approach recognises that our bodies carry what our minds cannot yet hold — and that real healing involves both.
We work with your body's signals — not against them
No judgment, no pressure, no performance required
The pace is always yours to set
We meet you where you are, not where you think you should be
Working with Daniela helped me understand my emotions in a way I never had before. I always felt completely safe — never judged, never rushed. I left each session with something real to hold on to. The warmth she brings to this work is unlike anything I've experienced.
Daniela has a rare gift for creating a space that feels genuinely safe. She guided me through some of my most difficult emotions with so much compassion and patience. I came away with real anchors — tools and insights I still use every day.
I was nervous about starting therapy, but from the very first session I knew I was in the right place. Daniela never made me feel judged — only seen. Her warmth and compassion helped me find a steadiness inside myself I didn't know was there.
Somatic therapy works with the relationship between body and mind. Rather than only talking about experiences, we also notice what happens in the body when emotions arise — sensations, tension, breath, posture. This can be particularly helpful if talking alone has felt incomplete, or if you sense your body holds more than your words can express. If you're curious, that curiosity is usually a good enough reason to explore.
Yes — all sessions are available online via a secure video platform. Many clients find that working from the comfort and privacy of their own space actually supports the therapeutic process. Online sessions are fully equivalent to in-person work, and mean I can work with people anywhere in the world.
There is no single answer — it depends on what you're carrying and what you're hoping for. Some people benefit from a focused short-term process of 8–12 sessions. Others find ongoing support more helpful over a longer period. We check in regularly about how things feel, and you are free to pause or stop at any time.
The first session is a gentle meeting. We take time to get to know each other, talk about what brings you here, and understand what kind of support might help. There is no pressure to share anything you are not ready for — this is your space, and we move at your pace.
Absolutely not. Many people come to therapy because something feels quietly off, or because they want to understand themselves better, or because they're navigating a transition. You do not need to be in crisis to deserve support. Any reason that brings you here is a valid one.
Yes, fully and without reservation. This is a space where all identities, orientations, and expressions are welcomed, respected, and honoured. You will not need to explain or justify who you are here.
Reaching out is often the hardest part. There is no commitment in sending a message — just a small, brave step toward something different.
You're welcome to reach out by email or use the form. I respond to all messages within 48 hours, and I offer a free 20-minute introductory call for anyone considering starting therapy.
Sessions are held online — I can work with clients anywhere.
